Can I just join MBEA?
MBEA is part of a tiered membership system with Missouri Association for Career and Technical Education (MOACTE) and the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE). When you join MBEA, you will also be joining the other two organizations.
Can I join MBEA at any point in the year?
Yes, you can join at any point in the year. Membership does runs July 1st to June 30th. Keep in mind, if your expiration date is July 1, 2025, and you delay and renew on September 1, 2025, your expiration date remains July 1 of the following year. This is to ensure continuous membership. Also, if you pay your dues after April 1st, your membership will officially start on July 1st of that same year. This ensure you get the most benefit from your membership dollar.
Will my membership auto-renew?
No, members must renew annually and you will receive reminders to on renew.
Can I just attend the Annual Summer Conference without paying my dues?
No, members must first renew their annual dues before registering for the conference. Only paid MBEA members can register for the Annual Summer Conference.
What is the cost to join MBEA?
ACTE, MOACTE and MBEA Dues are $135. Conference Registration is $95.
Dues and Registration fees are eligible Perkins expenses. Ask your school’s administration about helping to cover the cost of the joining and attending conference. Some schools are willing to help others are not.
