The premier organization for leadership development, Missouri FBLA is proud to offer students an opportunity to serve in leadership roles within the organization. Members may choose from local, district, state, or national officer opportunities.
Officers at every level across all three divisions are expected to comply with the Officer Handbook. Failure to meet the expectations outlined in the Officer Handbook can lead to removal of office.

Local chapters are encouraged to operate their officer positions in accordance to the approved positions created by Missouri FBLA. However, depending on the chapter, additional positions may be required to operate.

high school district officers
Each District elects six (6) officers each year in February to govern their district for the upcoming year. The President of each District serves as the representative to the Missouri FBLA Executive Council and must attend Officer Training to serve in this role. For the 2026-2027 District Officer Team, training will take place during MOSAIC June 2-3,2026 in Branson, Missouri. District Presidents are REQUIRED to attend training and the Executive Council meeting that will take place onsite.

Candidates interested in becoming a District Parliamentarian will test for Parliamentary Procedures during the DLC Window (December 2 - January 8). A candidate for the District Parliamentarian Chapter's Adviser will register them for this test in Blue Panda November 4 - 24, 2026.
